Celebrating the 26th edition, FMX this year combined “the best of the virtual and the real world” in a hybrid conference. A tagline that seemed very familiar to the Research team at disguise, given their role in the AdMiRe project.
In fact, their workshop, titled Advancing xR Workflows with Collaborative Funded Research, showcased primarily the achievements delivered for AdMiRe and thanks to the collaboration with the Project Partners. Dr Dominic Brown demonstrated some of the key innovations, all focused towards a completely seamless integration of real and virtual elements in xR pipelines, including Foveated Rendering, Physical and Virtual Light Mixing and MultiView Rendering (patent pending).
