NTNU is getting ready for the final stage of the AdMiRe project. At the Sense-IT lab in Trondheim, the system is being set up with the latest versions of the software modules. During the spring, the system will be validated according to research protocols which are now being finalised. This validation will happen at the facilities of the end users Premier Media, TVR and NRK. NTNU will assist in this process by visiting these partners. The AdMiRe system will be shipped from Valencia to Dublin, before it is sent to Bucuresti.

In Trondheim, a system is already in place. The plan is to get it running at Sense-IT before moving it to NRK. Graphic designer Jørgen Leangen from NRK is assisting this process, ensuring that we get a simple setup resembling a TV studio. The validation will cover the experience of using the system as well as the quality of the resulting video stream. After the training week in Valencia, we have a better understanding of how we can best utilise the AdMiRe system. We now have to make things run smoothly and figure out the remaining details of the validations. This will hopefully prevent major difficulties when we do the tests at the end users facilities.
